Joeske van Walsum
Chairman
Joeske, Rachel and Hans moved to Woodbridge in 2018. After a spell as a professional flute player in his 20s, Joeske set up Van Walsum Management, a company representing artists which launched a number of distinguished careers such as Esa Pekka Salonen, Mitsuko Uchida and Mariss Jansons. Having sold the company in 2008 and spent a year travelling in Europe with their own boat, Joeske and Rachel formed Maestro Arts, a company that manages artists in many disciplines, including music and visual arts. Joeske was Chair of IAMA (International Artist Managers Association) for three exhilarating years. He wants to contribute to the Woodbridge and Melton Society in gratitude for the wonderful environment we have here, something never to be taken for granted.

Lindsay Dann
Treasurer
Lindsay was raised in Suffolk and returned in 2007 after a career in retail banking. In retirement he managed his local almshouses and a charity providing training to the voluntary sector. He currently volunteers for New Horizons in Woodbridge and was the Melton Parish Tree Warden. He was an officer of the Woodbridge Cruising Club for many years.

Liz Huddlestone
Membership Secretary
Liz was born and raised in the Woodbridge & Melton area but left in her early 20s to live abroad. Upon returning she lived in West Suffolk for many years before returning to her roots in Melton. She is keen to know more about Woodbridge and Melton and joined the Society in 2021, offering to help the committee in 2025. Liz has a financial and administrative background, working in agriculture and education during her career. Now retired she enjoys living in Melton, helping where she can and is an active member of St John’s church in Woodbridge.
